I have recently been delving into alot of David Icke's research into the same type of thing....an Elitist control on the mass population since written history began in the Ancient Sumeria, which incidentally is now Iraq. He claims the conspiracies are rooted in Extra terrestrial Beings present upon the Earth far longer than Masonry, Illuminati or any New World Order sect that has come to light recently. When you get a chance, (and if you haven't already) you can check out a synopsis of it in an interview with David Icke before his book "The Biggest Secret" came out. IT is an older interview, but touches on the gist of what he is saying.
