Hi everyOne.

I really was drinking that pina colada
the last time I passed (stumbled?) through here.
The cafe energy was so warm and inviting,
it's been a nice seat, here and there, to listen
in and ponder.
I wouldn't presume to say I know the answers
to the questions here.
The only revelation I have summoned
for every quest I've
sojourned myself is,
there exists equal
potential in all things.
Equal potential in either direction.
Good or bad.


It's makes it difficult to know what to say,
when you hear both sides of a debate,
and for light of this, hear
above all, integration.
Both of everything is true.
When I begin to spiral off these days,
I'm often silenced short in my own contradiction.
I return
not long after I've taken off.
Maybe you guys understand.

I wanted to say though,
it's refreshing and rare
to see such open and sharing dialogue;
Stimulating, and nondebasing.
It's so cool that such a place exists
where discussion isn't
open-bait for exploitive
ego/intellectualizations.

There remains room to travel together
and grow.

You've been thinking of Light
and I've been thinking of dark matter a lot
these days.
It may seem on surface opposite poles,
but I have this feeling there may be
an integration occuring somewhere.

Is what is reflected back to us,
what is real?
And what is absorbed 'away from us'
unreal?
What is beyond the visible?

We are visible Beings.
Vision is so important to our
incarnation here.
If I were before You,
what You would be seeing
is my body's ability to absorb or refract light...
but what of beyond?
Am I any less real
if I'm invisible--
if I am dark?




White appears white to us
because the spectrum's rays are not absorbed by
the object.
Black absorbs all rays of the spectrum,
and so appears black to us.
(Green for instance appears green to us,
because all other colors except green are
absorbed)

All light, whether white or yellow or black
is energy.
All matter is matter, whether light or dark.
Dark energy constitutes most matter of the Universe.
Why?
What is lurking there?

So much more reading to do
on black holes, electromagnetic energies, etc.,
I don't feel near confident yet
on a clear conclusion,
yet I so strongly feel there's
something so close here to understand.
And that is it connects back to Your
words on Light here. And
somehow to our yearnings
for intimacy.

Oh Wow Chahles,

That whole post was absolutely breath-taking and so heartwarmingly beautiful. My Libra soul is in a puddle by your feet. You are such a gifted poet. I’m so grateful that you share your gift with all of us here at Last Chance Café. Reading your posts is always a pleasure.

You know Chahles, you remind me so much of a boy I knew in high school once upon a youthful time. He was a junior and I was a sophomore and somehow, we ended up in the same study hall. So he became one of my note passing buddies. He used to write the most amazing notes all full of riddles and rhymes, very much like your posts.

When my sister started renting the house we grew up in from our mother a couple of years ago, she went through all the closets and found a bag of some of my old notes from high school. All of his were in it, so now I’ll have them forever. He was so creative about the kind of paper he would use and how he would fold it up. My favorite one is a long scroll he made with straws and a roll of continuous manila paper towels. That one had pictures. He was a pretty good artist too.

He grew up to be an English teacher at a junior high school in the next city over from where we went to school. I wasn’t surprised at all by this news. He’s awesome at words just as you are Chahles. I bet if you compiled your posts at the site, you would have quite the publishable book. I know I would definitely buy it.

I was struck by something you said in your last post Chahles about looking past tomorrow and seeing yesterday. That’s how I feel about this wonderful place Greg made for us and Maria kindly and lovingly keeps alive for us. No matter where my Future path unravels I always have this piece of Yesterday waiting in the wings of my Tomorrows. And for that I owe Greg, Maria and Linda Goodman my eternal gratitude.

You also said that we’re blessed by the gift of Knowledge. How true that is. I feel very blessed to have met all the amazing and enlightened people that have passed through this site over the last nine years. I have learned so much from all the wise and mind expanding posts that have been shared over the years. I just know my life would have taken a much different road had I not found this incredible place and all the wonderful souls who have made it their home.

Wow! Well, just look at what a Gemini Moon through the 8th house can do! I was quite the little chatterbox for someone with such a heavy 12th house. Ah well, what better place to indulge my current mood to share IntoMeSee? Alright, so who wants to go next?

It is often said that No man is an I-Land.
No one stands a Lone

But often, quite often
I feel very a Lone
amongst this
Globe of People.

Much isolation is indeed caused
by My Self.
Whether in response to my inability
to relate and thus self-afflicted reclusion
OR
my unacceptance of the limited
Affection
I witness around me
amongst
Soles who live together
Here.
It is a quandry I fight with daily
and wish away every other instant.

Some of my Best Friends are Strangers
and some of my worst enemies
call me Friend.

Is there a point in One's existence
where total acceptance of the Human Condition
Becomes Possible?
Where complete openness
shuts out the dark?

A Reality I hope to indeed achieve
Whilst I'm awake.

Feeling the pain
of Loving so much
can cause One to hate the Cure.

Having said that
I appreciate
All those
Who make Known
Their Heart's Desire

Thanks so much for hanging your heart up for all to see. I imagine much of what you shared was difficult to put out there. I can truly say I can relate to everything you said about self-imposed isolation. I tend to do that a lot with my heavy 12th house and Saturn in Cancer.

I feel such sadness to see your words that say you feel alone, especially with your Aquarian Sun that must long to spread your light among humankind and your Cancer Moon that has so much tenderness and caring to give. I hope you find the answers you are seeking that will help release you from the quandry.

You do pose some very good questions that I've often asked myself. I too hope that the total acceptance of the Human Condition becomes possible and takes humanity out of the dark and into the light of Unconditional Love of All. That's certainly a beautiful reality to strive for. Thanks again for sharing yourself with us.
